The Mennigen and Bruin labs are recruiting a fully funded MSc researcher to develop and validate a transgenic zebrafish model for studying PFAS effects on pancreatic development and glucoregulatory function.
The Mennigen Lab at the University of Ottawa and the Bruin Lab at Carleton University are jointly recruiting one MSc student. The project will develop, validate and use a transgenic zebrafish line to quantify the effects of PFAS on pancreatic development and glucoregulatory function. The position is available from September 2026 until filled, with an alternative January 2027 start.
