The University of Turku is recruiting four TIAS Postdoctoral Fellows for full-time, three-year appointments from 1 September 2027 to 31 August 2030. Fellows pursue their own interdisciplinary research project while participating in TIAS activities and are based on a Turku campus. The call covers economics, education, humanities, law and social sciences. The salary is currently estimated at €3,938 gross per month, with a research allowance of up to €3,800 per year. Eligibility summary
International applicants are welcome. The proposed project must fit one of TIAS’s five constituent faculties. Applicants must have completed their PhD by the 13 November 2026 deadline and earned it no more than five years before that date, subject to specified career-break exceptions. Appointees must reside in Finland and attend the Turku campus regularly.
