UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health is recruiting for its 2027–28 Child Health Research PhD Studentship Scheme. Up to four full-time, three-year places begin on 1 October 2027. Projects cover fundamental, translational and clinical child health research; dedicated funding also supports epilepsy and developmental neuroscience research. Applicants must identify a project and contact their preferred supervisor before submitting the first-stage application. Successful first-stage candidates proceed to UCL’s formal application process. Funding covers UK/Home tuition fees, a student stipend and research consumables. International applicants are welcome, but some awards may not cover the difference between Home and overseas tuition fees; applicants should check their own fee status and funding plan.
