Stanford University
Stanford’s Next Asia Policy Lab seeks two postdoctoral fellows for two-year appointments beginning in fall 2027. The annual salary is $83,000 plus benefits. Research tracks cover talent flows, nationalism, US–Asia relations, and democratic reform. Apply by 1 December 2026.
The Next Asia Policy Lab at Stanford’s Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center invites interdisciplinary, policy-relevant research on contemporary Asia. Fellows lead thematic collaborative research groups and support student programming alongside their own research and publications. The appointment is two years, with possible extension contingent on performance and funding, and requires residence at Stanford. All four tracks are open; the lab particularly welcomes economic security proposals under US–Asia relations.
