The Schmalenbach Prize may be awarded for dissertations in German or English which have been accepted by a business administration faculty in Germany, Austria or Switzerland and awarded the grade 'summa cum laude'. At the time of application no more than 12 months must have elapsed since the completion of the awarding of the doctoral degree.The Schmalenbach Prize is awarded to dissertations proposed by their respective supervisors and reviewers.
