Purdue University’s NanoX Lab is recruiting one or two PhD students for the Fall 2027 cycle. Professor Haitong Li seeks candidates interested in digital and analog circuit design with chip tapeouts/testing, or unconventional computing with silicon, emerging devices and CMOS+X systems. Email the professor a CV, transcript and short explanation of your research background and interests. Also apply formally to Purdue Electrical and Computer Engineering’s PhD program, selecting both Microelectronics & Nanotechnology (MN) and VLSI & Circuit Design (VC) areas. Purdue ECE may award a fellowship, teaching assistantship or research assistantship to strong applicants, but lab recruitment itself does not promise funding. December 1 is the priority deadline for financial support; April 1 is the final Fall admission deadline.
