Assistant Professor Hong Je Cho is recruiting one MS or Ph.D. student for Spring 2027 in Oklahoma State University's School of Chemical Engineering.

The research group works in nanomaterials, heterogeneous catalysis and sustainable energy and chemical processes. The successful candidate will conduct independent research in the synthesis of novel nanomaterials, materials characterisation, and reaction and environmental applications.

The student will also develop creativity, teamwork, collaboration, patience, and effective oral and written scientific communication. Research results are expected to be prepared for peer-reviewed journals, conferences and project reviews.
