LIDo London Interdisciplinary Biosciences PhD 2027 — Funded DTP and iCASE
London Interdisciplinary Biosciences Programme (LIDo)
Applications for the 2027 LIDo interdisciplinary biosciences PhD cohort are open until 1 December 2026 at 17:00 UK time. Funded four-year DTP and iCASE awards cover Home fees and a London-rate stipend; up to seven funded places may cover full overseas fees.
LIDo is a BBSRC-supported doctoral training partnership across eight London universities and specialist institutions. The four-year programme combines biology with computational, physical, engineering and mathematical research. The DTP route includes two four-month laboratory rotations before a final project; iCASE students start a named industry-linked project and complete a placement. Applicants must choose the route and follow the official application guidance. Clinical research on humans and non-infectious human diseases are outside the programme remit.
