Since 1984, the Leopold Müller Award has been awarded to honour excellent doctoral theses which deal with the integral approach to geotechnical engineering.Entitled for the award are papers dealing with the following topics:- Research of characteristics of rock and soil and their behaviour under different conditions- Improvement of construction methods, design and layout of rock and soil engineering structures aiming at safe, economical, sustainable and environmentally friendly projects- Improvement of methods for design, construction, and maintenance of rock and soil engineering structures- Further development of contractual issues for soil and rock engineering structuresThe scientific paper must be approved as a dissertation at a university and can not be older than one year.Further information
