King’s College London’s Prischi Lab seeks a Postdoctoral Research Associate for an MND Association-funded project on Annexin A11 interactions and their role in neurodegeneration. The researcher will lead protein NMR and SAXS characterisation and related cell biology studies, working with collaborators at King’s and the University of Turin. Training in cell-based methods is available.

Location and terms: Guy’s Campus, London, United Kingdom. Full-time onsite, 35 hours per week, fixed term for 36 months. The position starts no sooner than 1 November 2026.

Applicants who have submitted their PhD thesis but await the award may be appointed initially as Research Assistant at Grade 5, spine point 30; the title and salary move to Research Associate/Grade 6 when the PhD is confirmed.

Applicants need a PhD in structural biology, biophysics, biochemistry or a related discipline, or a submitted thesis awaiting award. Essential experience includes biological NMR and structural biology, SAXS methods and analysis, complex multidimensional NMR data, and recombinant protein expression and purification including isotopically labelled samples.

To apply, use the King’s College London application portal linked below.
