Adelaide University–China Scholarship Council PhD Partnership 2027
Adelaide University
Adelaide University and the China Scholarship Council offer a jointly funded PhD pathway for applicants from the People’s Republic of China. Apply to Adelaide University by 1 February 2027 for PhD starts between July 2027 and June 2028. University nomination and a later CSC award are both required for the full funding package.
This 2027 partnership supports eligible applicants from China to undertake a PhD at Adelaide University. The university application is stage one and runs from 1 October 2026 to 1 February 2027. Applicants must select “Seeking sponsorship from China Scholarship Council” in the Financial Support section. Adelaide University assesses admission and English-language requirements, then nominates selected applicants and issues conditional admission and China Fee Scholarship offers around March 2027. Nominated applicants must separately apply to the CSC around April–May 2027. The university contribution is available only to its nominees; a CSC award without Adelaide nomination leaves tuition fees to the student.
